Dans un territoire urbain, délité et détérioré, le projet crée sa limite avec l’espace public, il investit l’épaisseur de son périmètre pour y installer un programme scolaire allant de la crèche au lycée. À la fois solide et poreux, ce mur habité protège un grand parc intérieur dans lequel s’organisent tous les programmes à vocation publique ainsi que les équipements sportifs. Ce cœur paysager vient s’étendre au-delà du contour du bâtiment offrant au quartier un espace public de qualité tout en valorisant l’équipement. Figure linéaire et unificatrice, la façade est rythmée par une agrégation de volumes en béton, qui tout en filtrant la lumière, permet de créer un climat agréable et tempéré.

This multi-school complex, forges an urban perimeter which shelters a sanctuary for learning within. Inside its walls, all the classrooms are shielded from the street and oriented towards an enormous shared garden. In a neighborhood which completely lacks green spaces, this garden serves as an oasis harboring recreational spaces for all three schools. All communal activities (cafeterias, auditoriums, workshops) are located in floating pavilions within this garden. The building is slightly pivoted on the site, and this conscious misalignment with its immediate context achieves two goals: it creates a widening of the site where the entry plazas to the schools are located, and it distinguishes the building from the ubiquitous grid of its surroundings.
